Puna Rainforest Retreat is available for group retreats:
We manage two duplex cabins (two bedrooms in each cabin) and one single cabin which will sleep 12 double occupancy or 6 single occupancy. We manage four cabins in the Puna Rainforest Reserve which can be used for small, intimate retreats onsite for up to 12 people. Enjoy this quiet, woodsy space for contemplative and/or active retreats.
Classes or workshops can be held in the Ohia Cottage. The Ohia Cottage can seat 12-16 people for meals/classes. Inquire about reserving the property for day classes. We are 5 miles from Pahoa town with lots of restaurants, 15 miles from the warm ponds on the ocean, and 15 minutes from the lava flow going into the ocean. The Volcano National Park is 30 miles away, and the Mauna Kea Visitor's Observatory is about 40 miles away. We can help you with booking excursions and van transportation for your group.
Current rates are $200/night + 13% tax (for up to 8 persons), with each additional person $25/night+ tax extra. We require a one-night deposit upon booking for retreats, with the remainder due 30 days prior to arrival. The deposit is refundable up to 30 days of your reservation, but is nonrefundable if you cancel within 30 days of your reservation.
